A little bit about me… When you plan to start over in a new country, you realize that you have to be born again. There is no easy rebirth, nor death without pain, but that is where I reinvented myself. I remember the day I left my island of Cuba like it was yesterday. It was May 2016, at 49 years old, with my heart about to burst. I was leaving behind a part of my soul: my oldest son, my family, my home, my customs. I had my husband and youngest son by my side along with a suitcase full of hopes and dreams to fulfill.
